About the role
We're seeking an analytically sharp Market Making Associate with a background in econometrics or quantitative economics. You’ll work directly with the founder and play a central role in shaping and refining our market-making strategies. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants to scale with a fast-growing, tech-driven business. You’ll get ownership and direct influence on strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimise pricing, liquidity, and matching models using real-time market data
Monitor market dynamics and customer behaviour to improve market structure and performance
Identify arbitrage opportunities and optimise spreads, execution, and margins
Build internal dashboards and tools for real-time market monitoring
Collaborate closely with product and engineering to automate and scale market making operations
Support fundamental analysis and go-to-market strategy for new categories or markets
You are
Degree-qualified in econometrics, mathematics, quantitative economics, or a related quantitative field
Strong analytical thinker with experience working with complex datasets and modelling techniques
Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and ownership
Clear communicator, able to turn data into actionable insights
Proficient in Python, R or similar; SQL experience is a plus
Based in Amsterdam
