Market Making Game

Market Making Game

We challenged ourselves at some market making games! We made markets on:
“How many citizens does the European Union have?“
“How many feathers are on a full grown Canada goose?“

But also some probability questions were introduced with cards, a spinning wheel, and dice. We also slightly jumped into instruments such as calls and puts.

Everyone was instantly shouting out bids, setting markets, and trading with each other. Even beginners who had never played the game managed to make some great trades.

This session was for designed to be accessible to everyone. Next time, we’ll be running two sessions: one for beginners, and another for more advanced market makers who are competitive. The advanced session will introduce tools like straddles, spreads, and more advanced market estimations.

Thank you for those who showed up! We look forward to the next sessions.
